Massive damage

The damage to Ukraine's current power plants is enormous. Immediate action is required to ensure that the country does not suffer further from power outages. Building wind turbines that are less easy to hit contributes to the construction of a sustainable and solid energy system

Ukraine already has a lot of onshore wind energy capacity: 1.9 GW approximately. However, 75% of them are not running or in occupied territory, 25% are still left, so that 75% must now be filled in.

The Netherlands to the rescue

Dutch companies are going to help Ukraine with the construction of wind turbines on land and at sea. And a smart energy system around it. For example, companies from the Netherlands are going to refurbish and upgrade wind turbines that need to be replaced in the Netherlands in order to have them working in Ukraine quickly.
